ANCHORAGE – January 14, 2019 – The Alaska Oil and Gas Association (AOGA) is pleased to announce that Ms. Brooke Ivy has joined AOGA as its new External Affairs Manager.

Ms. Ivy previously worked in the Alaska State Legislature, most recently as Chief of Staff to former Representative Jason Grenn. Her prior work experience includes roles as a campaign manager; a director at a local events and logistics firm; a certified resource specialist for United Way’s 2-1-1 program; and a grants administrator for Covenant House Alaska.

As AOGA’s External Affairs Manager, Ms. Ivy will be responsible for the organization’s public relations, legislative affairs, and event management.

“Brooke is a known professional with a reputation for her incredible work ethic, strong organizational skills and thoughtful insight,” said AOGA President and CEO Kara Moriarty. “Her background and experience are exactly what we need as we continue to advocate for the long-term viability of the oil and gas industry. We are fortunate to be able to add her to the team.”

Ms. Ivy graduated from Willamette University in Salem, OR as a Mark O. Hatfield Scholar with a degree in Japanese Studies.
